GPTA currently offers three Exam Preparatory classes a year to prepare students to take the Journeyman, Master Restricted and Unrestricted exams. These classes are taught all day Saturday and Sunday three weekends in a row (six days). All classes are taught by Ron Anderson, who brings 50+ years of experience in all aspects of the Construction industry. The classes are fast paced yet allow time for questions and explanations of the material that is taught.

It is our goal to graduate plumbing professionals that are highly skilled and knowledgeable about all aspects of plumbing. We cover both the plumbing and gas codes plus other subjects included on the exam. We do daily testing and supply students with a number of handouts to assist them in preparing for the exam.

We invite you, at the appropriate time in your career, to attend one of our Preparatory classes prior to taking the exam. We take pride in the fact that our success rate is high. The job you do is extremely important in protecting the health of our nation. You deserve the best and it is our desire to give each and every student a first-class learning experience that will be beneficial to them for years to come.

The GPTA rate is $129 per night plus taxes and fees. The rate includes breakfast for up to 2 people if double occupancy. You will need to add your guest’s name to your reservations as the Breakfast List is made from the Reservations List. Parking fees will be waived for overnight guest and those attending the class. Complimentary shuttle within 5 miles of the hotel is available to all guests staying at the hotel and is based on a first come first serve basis.

Upon receipt of your registration for the class, you will receive confirmation from GPTA and two informational emails from Charlene Anderson, Office Manager, GPTA. The lodging links will be included in this email.
